3. Embrace enough.
4. Discernment. Practice wisdom.

We are so passionate about our nation’s, church’s, and family’s lack of contentment, that we filled two shows. This week is part one. We were going to leave it just one show, but then there was all this other info that we felt had to be added. I mean we couldn’t just leave it like that unfinished, could we? It had to be better, in fact this show on contentment could never be good enough, right? We have to keep working to get it just right. I’m not sure we can get it done in just two shows…maybe we need three shows to get the topic on contentment JUST right…

Both of these guys are married. Both love their wives. But this week, they kick around the difficult issue of, not just loving their wives, but making sure their wives feel as though they are their number one priority. Everybody knows we should make our spouses number one, but it’s easier said than done. It looks good on paper, but as my old football coach used to say, “We don’t play on paper!”

This week Josh and Jimmy plow into their second week of exposing Marital Myths. This week they confront Myth #3, Common Interests Keep Us Together and Myth #4, Never Go to Bed Angry. Dumber words have never been spoken…other than, “Love is never having to say you’re sorry.” Now, THAT was really dumb, but these two are really dumb as well.
